Too bad that you'll need some bracket racing skills to get more than 3 runs at 5 of those street legals (KOTH ::) ). Gotta love getting punished for running your best ever time-unless you had your dial in adjusted to account for it. Don't bother trying any changes in tuning because if it fails or works too good, you're done.

By regulars, you mean MRP and the weekend bracket racers who come to street legals, right? I'll probably run in it too, just because you will get one extra run for $5 rather than paying $11.50/run since the KOTH takes up the whole rest of the night and most others only got 2 runs in.

One day 50 of us should show up on a weekend race and run test n tune, see how they like it? They'd cut us off after 10 people though.

I think I'll do most of my racing at eagle this year, less political BS and there is never such a thing as a 2 run day for street legal-unless there's a rainout.

it also looks like they set up KOTH so its in the warmer parts of the summer so ppl wont be so pissed about sitting around, and at least we get 10 SL's before a KOTH but then its pretty much all KOTH for the rest of the season

It's about 4 hours from Richmond, less than 2 hours from Kelowna though and only 40 minutes from Kamloops.

I was in the staging lanes at MRP during SL's in October and a guy was polling everyone. One of the Questions he asked was if you'd like to see more king of the hill races and would you enter them. I guess a lot of guys said yes. I said no to both. But I guess I'll give it a try now that it's written in stone. At least I'll get more than two runs in. I hope.

how many runs on a street legal weekend would one get at eagle? would 15-20 over the weekend be a good guess? im thinking about making the treck up there, 80 bucks + gas and food for the weekend isnt cheap, but if i can get alot of runs in, fuck, ill take that over mission BS.

About 15 minimum over the weekend. Definately go for one of the night races it's a blast. Gives you lots of time to get up there on a SAT, race til about 1am then bust out some beers. Get up and be racing by 10 and stay til around 4 on SUN. I've done it twice and always had a good time, very relaxed and they pretty much don't even look under the hood on a SL car in tech.

I like bracket racing but I think there are too many KOTHs. They are probably tring to introduce bracket racing to the SL guys. It adds some strategy to racing, once you get it, it's a lot of fun. I made it to the quarter finals at Port Alberni last summer, it was f**king exciting!

when your KOTH your not allowed to run your other class till you get eliminated, besides they still have the same car count max, and KOTH was a 32 car field max, with them not participating in the regular rotation. it wont take any more time this year :)

ya probably if i enter king of the hill....there are what 25 people...odds aren't bad but aren't that great either...however if i ran like i did last year i think that i'd win or at least get damn close..

If it doesn't take anymore time this year then it wont bother me. Its just a waste when we pay to run but get fucked over.

track rental is for racers and teams thats why, they want professional guys and teams, not street legal guys :-\
