1989 LX Hatchback
-Original 5.0 HO car
-5 speed
-158 000 kilometers
-No accidents and 1 Theft claim. As i understand it it was recovered 30 mins later, only a block away.
-Vehicle has original windsheild
-Vehicle has original paint
-Black exterior on grey interior
-Full set of grey floormats
-Manual windows and locks
-Power lumbar (both seats function)
-Alpine alarm
-Clarion AFCD
-Doors do NOT sag whatsoever
-No rust. Very clean car.
-Seat has NO "gangster lean"
-Ash tray and console lid both work perfectly
-MSD 8.5mm wires
-Accell plugs
-12 degrees of timing
-10 holes with comp TA's (80% rubber)
-MAC H pipe
-MAC catback exhaust with triple plate chrome tips
-Lowered with chopped stock springs, will include factory set.
-Hatch shocks are new(er) and still function properly
I bought the car about 1 month ago, and the only problem i had with it was a failing T5 trans. I have since replaced the trans with one in better shape however its only 99%. The 3rd gear synchro is on its way out the door so shifting into third should be done with a little more care than normal. Nothing big, repair is very inexpensive (synchro is about $50.00 and appr 2-3 hrs labour to re and re the exhaust. I bought it after it sitting for 2 years, and with 2 year old gas, a horrible idle and a PLUGGED fuel filter it passed aircare with flying colors. It runs VERY strong, starts on the first try no matter how cold it is and doenst stutter or hesitate at all. Im VERY happy with the car, however i need a truck to tow my boat with... Id keep it but i just cant afford 2 vehicles :(
The only thing i would recomend is that the car be cut polished. I just dont have the time or energy to do it right now, and money is a little tight or else i wouldve had it done myself :)
