swivels, extensions, another hand up top if possible with a wrench for the other side,
wd40 is your friend also.

if you have a butane torch or something heat the bolt up it will loosen it better then wd40 would but also put some wd40 on after

Mine came off no problem. ;D Soak it with WD40, then soak it again. Then go for it.

the mil elims look like fire crackers
I know what will also solve your problems, a set of headers unless you already have
j-roc
09-06-2004, 10:29 AM
Headers will have the same oval flange. ;)

stop whining, clean both mating surfaces with wire brush and brake cleaner, let dry, put high temp rtv orange on the flat part of the flange, then bolt it up, wont leak
Paul do you know what year they are for???? and if i put that stuff on it i still want to be able to take it off and put my stock h pipe on....wouldn't it be easier just to go to best buy or lordco and get the proper h pipe??

My BBK shorty header has the oval flange on the one side. I assume most would.

you should also heat shrink those crimp connectors on your O2 sensors. I HOPE those arent O2 sims like someone else stated. they sure wont work so good on the front O2 sensors :-\
Nitrous
09-07-2004, 11:49 PM
haha they are like plastic connections that you would normally use for speaker wire or somethin....are they gonna get melted to shit or what??? i had to modify it to try to get that other o/r pipe on so now the wires are cut for the 02 sensors..will the wires melt?? what should i do??
BrownBrosPerf
09-07-2004, 11:55 PM
they wont melt, the connectors are fine, it just needs some weather proof heat shrink to stop moisture from entering, the computer needs their signal to control fuel so corrosion will fuck the signal. Not that it will ever get driven in the rain eh ;)
Nitrous
09-07-2004, 11:59 PM
lol well its my everyday driver so i will be driving it all the time rain or snow...well not snow if i can help it...but what do you suggest i put around it?? i'm assuming electrical tape would just melt?

hey man thats my old h pipe i think, it fit on my mach 1 with no leaks only problem was it hung to low, thats why i got rid of it, just put sum breakable adhesive on the manifold hpipe connection and she wont leak.
