I have a 99 gt and it has the stock 4x4 look.

I want to lower it so it looks a bit sharper but I don't want it too low that I can't go over speed bumps.

I was thinking 1.5" all the way around, or 1.75 in the front and 1.5 in the back.

Any suggestions? if ya'll have pics that would be great. I haven't made my mind up yet if I want to keep the stock 17" rims or get the 18" Rouch wheels (silver not chrome)

You shouldn't have any problems with lowering it 1.75. Mine (fox) is more then 2.5 and I can still get in a lot of places. Just gotta be a little more careful thats all :)

Springs like the Eibach Pro kit is probably what your looking for, less than a 2" drop with no clearance issues if you have an X pipe that fit up snug like the stock H. Better handling as well.

i have suspension techniques they rate it at 1.8 front and 2.0 back. I never had any problems with speed bumps until I cut 1.5 coil's thats with the stock 17" now i have 18" wheels they make no difference, because a 245/45/17 is 25.7" tall and 245/40/18 is 25.7" tall. susp. tech. are cheep to buy should be around 180$$$ if you don't cut them you'll be fine.
