Well yours and my car run pretty much the same times and I run juice. I must have gone wrong somewhere in my build. or I can't shift lol. I need to get to mission and try my car there. So far ashcroft is all I have been to. Thats really nice 60 foots. You must be running quite a bit of gear? kinda an odd launch just gets up a little and goes. Very nice. What kinda suspension?

Your setup sounds pretty fun, what are you using for a tranny? Is it a stock bottom end 351? Post up some pics of your car... im using 3:73s, going through traps at 6200ish. Yeah the suspension needs some work its not quite right yet. Its lakewood shocks w/ coil overs, hotchkis upper/lowers and moroso rear sway bar.

I have my cardomain link in my sig there. Lots of pics. It has a stock crank balanced I'm not sure of the rods but it has forged pistons. They are dished so I think I am running 8.2 to 1 compression ratio which is hurting me a bit. I run a stock world class t-5. I believe I'm on lucky number 6. Keep buying 300 dollar jobbies out of beat up wrecked 5.0L. Should have bought a good tranny a long time ago. I have 3.73's aswell. I really like them. I just installed moros drag launch springs on my car but have not insured it this year or driven it yet. Contract talks going on at work I will wait and see how they turn out before I put my toy on the road. The other thing is I went 11.56 when I had holley heads on the car. I picked up 4 mph in the 1/8 mile at the local races since I installed vic jr heads. I will like to see how it does in the 1/4 mile though. What rpm are you launching at? It seems pretty high.

Ah nice, Ive actually seen that website before a while ago, nice car man. My motor is also low compression with dished pistons, it does hurt it a bit but what can ya do. Remember I have a few more cubes as well so that will make a difference. Thats quite the gain from a set of heads, it will be interesting to see what it pulls down at sealevel. I am launching always between 4000-4400rpm, not that high, it should grab and pull but it still spins most of the time... still needs work, might have to go back to a 28 inch tall tire.

What engine are you running? Your sig says stock 5.0L but I don't believe it. I hope to go to mission in Aug. I don't have all the safety gear to go faster then 11.5 however so.... maybe only get on chance at an all out nitrous run. Then run no bottle for the rest of the day. I also need to tune my carb. I have never done it but the jetting has to be off. I run too rich. Wide band says 10 to 1.

its a 393w, its about 9:1 compression so thats whats killing me to, its also got a solid roller blower cam in it which is slowing me down to, but it runs decent for what it is. On friday nights they are pretty good about it if you run too quick, I ran low 11s all day with an expired belt and a few other things wrong. Depends on the tech i guess. Bring it down we could give ya a hand tuning it I know someone great with carbs.

Where are you located? It is almost something I want to do at the track the day I'm there, that way I can actually see some performance change. I'll have to buy a holley jet kit. I don't have my harness or a scatter shield and my roll bar needs to be finished. I need to go buy a helmet and a jacket I guess.
