Default 1979 LJ80 Suzuki (samurai)

Click Link for more Info & Pictures.... i just bought this maybe a week ago, when i bought it the alternator was not charging and it had a bit of a starting issue... fixed/cleaned up some wires and now it runs awesome, although, it could use a carb rebuild or some tweaking.
Also had some kind of Vin hold? I got that all cleared up, it was nothing major, they just needed to actually see the vin on the vehicle... get insurance no prob.... $80/ Month and $40 to fill tank....

Bought it for a winter beater, decided i would rather put the money into something else. Just wanna sell it so i can have some spare cash to put into my scout II build.

Everything but the Horn works, all lights work, heat works, wipers work, 4x4 works great.... good tires and brakes. Body has Rust, Fenders have been replaced with check plate aluminum... solid suspension and frame... drives like a tank.... great off road rig.

Clean Title, Vin is good to go. - Most likely will not pass aircare because the carb runs rich and needs a rebuild. (island does not need air care hence how it is insured over here)
$1600 Or Best Offer... 250-927-7411 - Parksville

Currently my daily driver - other than running a little rich, it starts and drives with no issues.

you have no idea how good... ive had it out in the bush blazin' trails and some deep snow, and nothing stops it.... it truly is a tank without the thick armor.... if no one buys it soon im gonna get a 3500lbs winch from one of my suppliers... they sell a kit for like $140... its ridiculous..... this thing is only 1700LBS-1800LBS From the factory by the way so that winch would tow it up a wall lol.

If it didn't have rust I would be interested, the tin tops and pickups are hard to find from these years.
